Pixel Time Learning Center is sponsoring a series of public talks to help families learn more about using technology to enhance their lives. Pixel Time is Wichita’s home for the art of computer fun!

After-Thanksgiving Fun Day
Friday Nov 28 10am-1pm or 2-5pm $40
While mom enjoys shopping, the kids are enjoying a Pixel Time fun day full of digital and craft projects. For ages 6 – 12. Using iMacs and the software programs Photo Booth and Spore Creature Creator, each participant will create goofy photo portraits and funny animated creatures.  They'll also craft frames to display their self-portraits.  While the kids are enjoying Pixel Time fun, parents can be shopping the sales without their children peeking at their holiday gifts ahead of schedule.

Winter Break Photo Camp:  $90 for 2 hours/day for 3 days
Dec 29, 30 and31 10am-12pm | $90  
The perfect gift for kids with a new digital camera. Kids ages 9 through 12 can build skills and have fun as they learn to take, edit and improve their photos. Photo Camp is perfect for lucky kids who received a new digital camera during the holidays.  They'll how digital cameras work, how to take better photos, and explore options for editing photos for artistic effects.

Winter Break Movie Camp: $120 for 3 hours/day for 3 days
Dec 29, 30 and 31 1-4pm | $120  
The perfect gift for kids who want to make movies. Kids ages 9 through 12 can build skills and have fun as they learn to script, shoot and edit their own movies using Pixel Time equipment. In the afternoon Movie Camp, kids will learn how to use Pixel Time's Flip camcorders to take digital videos and then edit them into fun movies to share.
