*The Latest Breaking News from the girls at VIDIchiART is that they are launching their own Signature Line of GREEN paints and plasters all manufactured in North America, this Summer. The research and development has been three years in the making, and the time was right now to... "create GREEN". The line includes Limes which consist of natural materials, and even the synthetics in the line are 0 VOC and eco friendly as well. The two plan to use the products not only on walls for faux finishing, the green building industry, historic restoration, but are incorporating them into fine art paintings on canvas, murals and true historic frescos. Classes and workshops will begin in the Fall of 2008 to learn about these new products, and our newly revised website is being updated daily too. A "Fresco Painting Trip to Florence Italy 2009" is also in it's planning stages...stay tuned for more on that as well.
A Launch Party is planned in a few weeks, and all of you will receive invitations. We hope you can make it to our event.*
VIDIchiART Studio and Gallery offers a wide selection of custom art for your home or business. Including beautiful faux finishing – from basic glazing techniques to imported Italian Lime Plasters, murals, wall hangings and fine art, hand-painted furniture, fabrics, home accents and “unique oddities” for the woman of the house!
A full line of workshops and classes are available for the Do-it-Yourselfer, Faux Finish Professional, Artist and Hobbyist. Paint products include: Adicolor, Jo Sonja Pure Pigments, Oikos, Golden’s Proceed Paints, Perfetto, and Windsor Newton Oils.

Members of Delano Business Association, and participants in Final Fridays – the last Friday of every month – 6 to 9 pm.
Sarah Scott & Susan Bane invite you to come experience Historic Delano District. Where gunfights, brawls and saloon girls were the mainstays along the Old Chisholm Trail in the 1860’s, and where the legends of Bat Masterson and Wyatt Eyrpp stay alive!
This unique revitalized shopping area complete with antique street light fixtures and curb-side parking, is filled with wonderful cafes, art, and eclectic stores ranging from bicycles, scooters and motorcycles to interior floor coverings, wall finishes and murals, to hand-made hats, yarns, clothing –and the arts…from clay works and oil paintings to dance! There is something for everyone.
Historic Delano is located west of the Arkansas River, which was Wichita’s earliest settlement area. Close to “The Museums on the River”: Wichita Art Museum, Cowtown, Botanica – Wichita Gardens, Mid-American All Indian Center and Exploration Place., it is also home to Lawrence Dumont Stadium – home of the Wichita Wing Nuts baseball team.
Special events include “Delano Days” and unique events in May during Wichita River Festival. The last Friday of each month is “Final Friday Art Crawl”. Visitors can ride the trolley from art gallery to art gallery enjoying festivities, food and music - the sights and sounds of Wichita.
